Kamp was glorious! The weather wasn't perfect but we managed to have a wonderful time anyways. Of course spending so much time together was super fun and always greats fun memories. KC managed to put down 6 s'mores. She can really eat those. We made fun of some lady who wore Kittens dressed as Cowboys on her sweatshirt. And marveled at a 60 year old who wears pasties. Ahh Kickapoo, we are a different breed. Here are some pics of when we climbed the mountain. KC and I hiked it twice. Its such a breath taking view, and its so important to recognize someone who was loved by so many and cherished. The weekend was an important reminder to be aware of the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer. Birthday Fun

I had a wonderful birthday yesterday! I got beautiful flowers from the Big Guy and KC. Balloons, and lovely shout outs on blogs and facebook! It totally made a girl feel loved. Here are some pics of the lovely night that lisa organized! We had a blast and it was wonderful to get together! Dallas has its perks.

I'm so excited to go back to kamp. Its been too long and I miss it all the time. Kamp really made me who I am today. I learned confidence, made friends, and was able to be my complete self. I'm excited to go for the weekend and forget about life for awhile and remember all the good times over smores and the other attractions Kerrville has to offer. I can't think of anything better to do other than be with the Big Guy but he has a bachelor's party.

Drowning...

I haven't posted in awhile because I've been waiting for something exciting to happen to me or a wonderful story instead of being Sadpants Susie. Unfortunately, the only good thing happening was my wonderful friends who took me out to dinner and drinks and I became an American. All good things, but my deepest hope still isn't moving forward. I guess I really thought this was my time. Now I just feel like I'm drowning.




But I am happy for one thing- Mr. Cal's 25th birthday. I'm so proud of the big guy for turning 25 and I'm so glad he's in my life. Cal is one of the most amazing people I know. He has a lot of things on his plate right now, including a Sadpants Susie girlfriend but he is always so calm and takes each day at a time. I'm so proud of all that he has accomplished and I hope he has the best birthday ever!!!
